REPORTING TO: Pack House Manager

 

KEY AREAS OF THE ROLE

  • To operate machinery in line with set guidelines and instructions.
  • To load the bagged product for dispatch.
  • To liaise with other members of staff at various stages of production.
  • To maintain health & safety standards at all times.
  • Cleaning duties.

 

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Flexibility to work different overtime and bank holidays.
  • Manual work experience, as this role involves manual work and machine operation.
  • Own transport is required, as Keogh’s is not on a regular public transport route.
  • Excellent team work skills.
  • Good understanding of the English language.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Keogh's Crisps - Production General Operative - Crisping House

We are recruiting:

  • General Operatives – Production, Crisping House (Crisp Factory).
  • Please note full training with be provided.

The roles involve working on the production line, quality control of product, packing and loading product for distribution etc. Working as part of a team, you will be applying practical skills, working quickly, accurately and with excellent attention to detail.

 

Key Areas of The Role:

  • Working on the production lines, you must have a keen eye for detail and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Setting up machines and bagging product.
  • Rejecting out-of-specification product.
  • Ensuring conformance to specifications.
  • Reporting and addressing issues of quality and safety.
  • Adhering to HACCP and Health and safety practices at all times.
  • Ensuring the workstation is kept in excellent order with regards to housekeeping.
  • Using lifting equipment, pallet trucks and/ forklift trucks (not all roles).
  • General Factory duties.

 

Working Hours:

  • Crisps are rostered for 3 days on 4 days off (Full-time hours over 3 days).

 

Essential Requirements:

  • Manual work experience.
  • Own transport as no public transport available in the area.
  • Good team work skills.
  • Good Communication Skills.

Keogh's Crisps - Order Processing & Logistics Administrator

Purpose of the Role:
The Order Processing & Logistics Administrator is a vital part of the supply chain process and is responsible for the order capture, planning, coordinating, administration, monitoring and distribution of Keogh’s Crisps. You will facilitate the smooth running of the department with your excellent customer service skills, as well as the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.

 

Location: This role is based at our Warehouse & Logistics site in St. Margaret’s, Co. Dublin

 

Key Areas Of The Role:
Processing, planning, coordinating and monitoring the order process and timely dispatch of goods, with accuracy and efficiency.
Regular updating of customer information/products/pricing/promotions onto Diomac (ERP system).
Responding efficiently to customer product and sales queries.
Processing of invoices, credit notes and debit notes.
Close liaison with the Sales team, Operation Manager & Crisp Production, Manager, Warehouse & Dispatch operatives, along with the Finance Department and Customers regarding deliveries/orders/stock & other issues.
Planning vehicle routes & liaising with haulage companies and our own drivers, troubleshooting of any delivery issues that may arise.
Assuring that all correct paperwork is completed and supplied with all transactions and ensuring conformance to specifications.
Using a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office, Diomac, Retail Exchange, WASP, eOrder and Customer/Supplier portals.
Logging and follow-through of any non-conformance issues.
Provision of administrative support to the Sales Managers and Sales team.
Ad-hoc office duties, data entry, reporting, scanning & filing.

 

Essential Requirements:
Third level qualification desirable.
2 to 3 years order processing / general administration experience within the FMCG industry.
Strong customer focus and customer service.
Excellent interpersonal, written & verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate confidently at all levels.
Strong computer skills with excellent experience of Microsoft Office, experience of using sales databases such as WASP/CRM for report writing purposes.
Self-starter with the capability to show drive, resilience, and ability to take initiative in a demanding environment.
Diligent individual, taking ownership of all duties of the role from start to completion.
Well organised with excellent attention to detail.
Possess ability to handle pressure and deal with conflicting priorities.
An ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Full, valid, clean B category driver’s licence essential.
