REPORTING TO: Pack House Manager

 

KEY AREAS OF THE ROLE

  • To operate machinery in line with set guidelines and instructions.
  • To load the bagged product for dispatch.
  • To liaise with other members of staff at various stages of production.
  • To maintain health & safety standards at all times.
  • Cleaning duties.

 

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Flexibility to work different overtime and bank holidays.
  • Manual work experience, as this role involves manual work and machine operation.
  • Own transport is required, as Keogh’s is not on a regular public transport route.
  • Excellent team work skills.
  • Good understanding of the English language.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Keogh's Crisps - Production General Operative - Crisping House

We are recruiting:

  • General Operatives – Production, Crisping House (Crisp Factory).
  • Please note full training with be provided.

The roles involve working on the production line, quality control of product, packing and loading product for distribution etc. Working as part of a team, you will be applying practical skills, working quickly, accurately and with excellent attention to detail.

 

Key Areas of The Role:

  • Working on the production lines, you must have a keen eye for detail and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Setting up machines and bagging product.
  • Rejecting out-of-specification product.
  • Ensuring conformance to specifications.
  • Reporting and addressing issues of quality and safety.
  • Adhering to HACCP and Health and safety practices at all times.
  • Ensuring the workstation is kept in excellent order with regards to housekeeping.
  • Using lifting equipment, pallet trucks and/ forklift trucks (not all roles).
  • General Factory duties.

 

Working Hours:

  • Crisps are rostered for 3 days on 4 days off (Full-time hours over 3 days).

 

Essential Requirements:

  • Manual work experience.
  • Own transport as no public transport available in the area.
  • Good team work skills.
  • Good Communication Skills.

Keogh's Crisps - Assistant Maintenance Technician

Purpose of Role:

The purpose of your Role is to support the Maintenance Technician and to provide technical support to our production facility and to provide various maintenance tasks such as machines maintenance and repair, fault finding and troubleshooting, continuous production process improvement and implementing various preventative maintenance programmes.  You will be responsible for the safe and efficient execution of planned and unplanned maintenance of plant and utilities in compliance with the Company’s Quality standards.

 

You will be proficient in all aspects of industrial maintenance which includes mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, automation and must be experienced in stainless steel equipment repairs.

 

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • To carry out a range of technical duties to cover mechanical, electrical and some general building fabric maintenance.
  • Proactively identify and remedy equipment maintenance issues, to maximise equipment uptime.
  • Servicing of electrical, mechanical and non-technical equipment.
  • Ensure all maintenance checklists are updated regularly.
  • Carry out preventative maintenance as per the Maintenance department planned schedule and manage.
  • Assist and manage subcontractors as required.
  • Spare parts identification and regular stocktaking.
  • Mentor production team by providing technical advice and support in order to achieve maximum machine performance.
  • Work closely with the Quality team in preparation for and during various inspections.
  • Work collaboratively across all departments to ensure optimal efficiencies.
  • Ensure compliance at all times with Health and Safety and legislative requirements. Maintain an internal ‘Best Practice’ regime and encourage continuous improvements.

 

The ideal Candidate will have:

  • Years’ experience in industrial maintenance environment preferably within food industry.
  • Diploma/ trade qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Strong Electrical background essential.
  • Proven track record in preventative and reactive maintenance in a similar role.
  • Critical thinking ability to troubleshoot and detect malfunctioning.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Excellent knowledge of safety precautions.
  • Methodical, analytical and enthusiastic approach to work with excellent attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of current legislation relevant to food manufacturing, quality compliance and Health & Safety.
  • Ability to respond to crisis situations efficiently and professionally, using sound judgement.

Keogh's Farm - Front of House Administrator

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

We are currently recruiting for a Front of House Administrator to join our Admin Team at our premises in Westpalstown, Oldtown, North County Dublin. This is a full-time role which involves the day-to-day management of our busy reception area as well as providing administrative support as needed. As the Front of House Administrator serves as the first point of contact for both clients and visitors, the ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and customer service skills, as well the ability to multi-task while maintaining a professional and friendly demeanour.

 

KEY AREAS OF THE ROLE

  • Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and warm manner.
  • Facilitate the processing and managing of deliveries to and from the site.
  • Ability to navigate various order management and invoice systems and software including Packstar, SAGE, Retail Exchange, and Dunne.
  • Provide front desk reception services including handling phone calls, re-directing calls as appropriate, taking and distributing messages, answering visitor queries etc.
  • Processing of invoices, credit notes and debit notes.
  • Handling cash and processing employee purchases.
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external enquiries.
  • Ensure and maintain the proper handling and filing of documents.
  • Assist in general administrative tasks, including data entry and ordering office supplies.
  • General administrative duties as the business dictates.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum two years’ experience as a receptionist or similar administrative role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team player with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • MS Office Suite experience with ability to learn and navigate new software systems.
  • Full, clean Irish driver’s licence essential.
